The steps involves in formation of government are as follows:

• First the elections are declared by Election Commission and dates & number of seats are finalised
• Each party gives tickets to its candidates for contesting elections
• Large scale campaigning is done to appeal the vote bank
• Elections are held on scheduled date
• Every citizen of country who is 18 years plus is eligible to vote
• Counting is done
• The party that gets majority of seats is declared the winner
• It then forms the government
