Solution

The correct option is C Water content of epidermal cells, temperature and light.
Water is absorbed by the guard cells which causes them to swell up and open the stomatal pore.
In many plants that are present in dry regions, the stomatal closes with high temperature so as to prevent water loss.
In the presence of sunlight, stomatal pores are open for photosynthesis but q night when sunlight is absent, the stomata gets closed to prevent loss of water through transpiration.
Nitrogen gas concentration does not have any significant amount of effect on stomata.
Hence the correct answer is 'Water content of epidermal cells, temperature and light'.
