1)HOW MANY DAYS THE FOOD WILL LAST IF 39 MORE SCOUTS ARE ADDED.
​2)HOW MANY SCOUTS SHOULD GO IF THE FOOD IS TO BE LAST FOR 26 DAYS.

Number of scouts=156Number of days=15So, Food for 156 scouts=156×15=2340(i) When 39 more scouts are added, then number of scouts=156+39=195So, number of days the food will last = 2340195=12(ii) When number of days = 26Then, number of scouts=234026=90This means there is enough food for 90 scouts for 26 days.Therefore, number of scouts should go = 156-90=66
