Alkanes have single bonds.(SATURATED)
Alkenes have double bonds.(UNSATURATED)
Alkynes have triple bonds.(UNSATURATED)
THEN WHAT KIND OF BOND DOES ALKYLS HAVE?? IS IT SATURATED OR UNSATURATED??

Dear Student,

Alkyls have sigma bonds. Alkyl groups are nothing but alkanes with one less hydrogen.
For eg. CH​4 is methane which is an alkane however, CH3 is methyl which is an alkyl group.
