Question

Can the egg of the ostrich be called the biggest particle of matter as it is made of a single cell? why or why not?

Open in App
Solution

Dear Student

It is true that ostrich egg is the largest cell, but it is NOT the biggest particle of matter.

The reason is, there is NO biggest particle of matter. particle means the smallest part. It can't be biggest.
Nothing in this universe can be "biggest particle" because particle means smallest.

Cell is unitary in terms of biology, not physical nature.
