The sustainable development and it's principle can be understood as:

a. Sustainable development
implies a pattern of development which aims at preserving the environment . It is a mode of human development in which resource use, aims to meet human needs without causing much damage to the environment so that needs can be met not only in the present, but also for generations to come.
b. The concept of sustainable development is related to resource planning since it aims at preservation and conservation of resources for future generations and planning their usage.
Some of it's principles are as:

Concern for all forms of life by giving them proper respect and care

Struggle for improving the quality of life.

Minimise the depletion of natural resources and conservation of the natural resources.
