Colluvial soil is composed of loose, unconsolidated sediments that are deposited at the base of hill slopes through various process like rain wash or sheet wash. This soil is composed of grains of all sizes from boulders up to clay. Such materials accumulate at the bottom of the steep slope by rain wash or sheet wash. Wheat is the main crop that can be grown in colluvial soil. Other crops include corn, hay crops, pasture plants, clover etc.
