Solution

Kidneys filters the blood and removes waste products from it in the form of urine. Nephrons are basic units of kidney that filter the wastes from blood. When blood passes through the kidneys, the wastes are filtered while the water and useful substances are absorbed back into the blood. The urine formed passes to urinary bladder for storage where from it is excreted out through urethera. The waste products that are removed by the body includes urea, uric acid etc.
