Question

IF BABY IS CAUGHT OR TRAPPED IN PLACENTA THEN WHAT HAPPENED ?

Open in App
Solution

The baby cannot be trapped in placenta. It may get wrapped by umbilical cord by its legs, arms, etc. This is quite common. Sometimes, it gets wrapped in its neck. This may lead to slowing of heart beat during delivery. As long as heart beat rate is not severe, its fine.
