1. Electrolytic cells are electrochemical cells which drives a non spontaneous redox reaction through application of current. They are often used to decompoe compounds.
2. Cathode carry the negative charge.

  • It is conductive.
  • It is inexpensive

4. ELECTROLYTIC CELL - Converts electrical into chemcal energy.
ELECTROCHEMICAL CELLS : ​converts chemical to electric energy
