Model code of conduct is a set of rules and principals that are enforced by Election commission of India towards the individuals and political parties for fair and peaceful conduction of Elections.They are designed to restrain corruption, communal clashes etc. So the common man can exercise his or her voting right freely and peacefully. Some of these include restrain on government bodies and employees in taking part in politics, Restrain on campaigning, control on the flow of liquor and money etc.
Two unfair practises are distribution of money and liquor to get votes and Politicians making hate speeches based on caste and religion to lure voters.
