We know that, in National flag 'TARANGA', there are three colours (saffron, white and green). In those of colours, only one combination is possible because saffron will come on the top. So, saffron can be filled only one way.

Therefore, by multiplication rule, we get 1×1×1=1 [1]
The significance of our National flag are given as
(i) Saffron colour specify courage and sacrifice.
(ii) White colour specify purity and truth.
(iii) Green colour specify growth and auspiciousness [2]
