Solution

Good morning! Respected Principal, my teachers, and my friends, I thank you for the opportunity given to me for the morning speech.

Money is like an essential vitamin nowadays. Gone are the days of the past when money was not deemed important and as the old adage goes, ‘Money is like the dust of one’s hand. It’s here today and gone tomorrow.’ It isn’t about the age or the understanding of the economy, it is about starting early. It is about being financially armoured against the future challenges, which will not necessarily see the help pouring from our parents or even their parents.

The small amount of pocket money is the first income that we possess. Instead of spending the last penny on marginally useless things, let’s take an initiative to save it. Warren Buffet has once quoted, “Each penny saved is a penny earned.” Every penny counts. It can be a small step towards the big journey, but at least…we need to start.

This morning, as I conclude my speech, I know it would be forgotten a year from now. But let’s ignite the need of saving money, how much ever small it is. It isn’t just us, who would be benefited, but a small step of yours is capable of shaping a nation economically.

Thank you.
