A hole lower down will shoot farther than a hole higher up. This is a consequence of the amount of liquid that is pressing down and hence, at various heights the liquid will be squirted at various distances.
In this case, the hole P is on the top and then Q and then R. Here, the water will be squirted the farthest through the hole R and then Q and the least distance through hole P.
