Percentage change during 1997-98 in A-type employees = $\frac{10700-8596}{8596}\times 100=24.48\%$

Similarly, percentage change in B-type = 88.60%,

C-type = 24.48%, D-type = 32.11%

E-type = 13.17% and F-type = 8.003%
