Solution

The correct option is D None of these
a. Photosynthetic pigments absorb visible part of the radiation( 380nm to 760nm). For example, chlorophyll absorbs blue and red light. Usually, plants show a high rate of photosynthesis in blue and red light. Maximum photosynthesis has been observed in red light than in blue light. The green light has a minimum effect.
b. Chl a is a bluish green whereas chl b is olive green in a pure state. They are soluble in organic solvents.
c. The phycobilins constitute a major group of photosynthetic pigments occurring in blue-green algae, cryptomonads and algae. These water-soluble pigments are thought to be localized in small granules, called phycobilisomes, attached to thylakoids.
So, the correct answer is 'none of these'.
