The image shown above is of the great leader Subhas Chandra Bose. Affectionately called Netaji, he was one of the most prominent leaders of Indian freedom struggle. In 1939, he organised a new party called Forward Bloc whose immediate objective was the liberation of India with the support of peasants, youths and other radical organisations. Another objective of the party was to make and develop India as a thoroughly modern state. One of the important objectives of the party also was to guarantee equal rights for every individual and also to provide opportunities to the people.
