Solution

The correct option is B Corolla & androecium
Family Leguminosae is classified into three subfamilies, Papilionaceae, Caesalpinioideae and Mimosa.
Papilionadeae sub family is characterized by zygomorphic flowers with vexillary/descending imbricate aestivation wherein one margin of the two lateral petals is overlapped by the posterior petal. Another margin of these two lateral petals overlaps the two anterior petals that are united. The united anterior petal form keel or carina.
Subfamily Caesalpinioideae has partly zygomorphic flowers with ascending imbricate aestivation in which margin of petals overlap each other in irregular fashion.
Sub family Mimosae exhibits actinomorphic flowers with valvate aestivation wherein margins of adjacent petals or sepals just touch each other without overlapping.
Papilionaceae has monadelphous or diadelphous stamens while Caesalpinioideae has dimorphic or heteromorphic 10 stamen filaments which are arranged in two whorls.
There are three long anterior stamens, four lateral medium sized stamens and three posterior very small which are modified into sterile staminodes. Mimosae have indefinite, free/monadelphous stamens. They have monocarpellary, unilocular gynoecium with marginal placentation. The fruit develops like a follicle and dehisce along two sutures (legume) or dehisce along transverse constrictions (lomentum).
Therefore, the correct answer is option B.
