Open in App
Solution

Horizontal arrangement:
(4x − 5y + 6z) − (3z + 4y − x)
= 4x − 5y + 6z − 3z − 4y + x

Combining the like terms, we get:
4x + x − 5y − 4y + 6z − 3z
= 5x − 9y + 3z

Vertical arrangement:
Writing the like terms one below the other, we get:
4x-5y+6z-(-x+4y+3z)

Now, we have:

4x-5y+6z+x-4y-3z5x-9y+3z
