Solution

Difference of the numbers 4/15 and -2/5 are as follows
(4/15) - (-2/5)
= ((5*4)+(15*2))/(15*5)
=(20+30)/75
=50/75
2 whole 3/7 is written as follows
= ((2*7)+3)/7
=17/7
Similarly -5 whole 4/7
=(-35+4)/7
=31/7
Sum of 2 whole 3/7 and -5 whole 4/7 is
=(17/7)+(31/7)
=(31+17)/7
=48/7
Subtract the sum of 2 whole 3/7 and -5 whole 4/7 from the difference of 4/15and -2/5
=(50/75)-(48/7)
=((50*7)-(48*75))/(75*7)
=(350-3600)/525
=-3250/525 (to simplify this divide numerator and denominator by 25)
=-130/21
=-6.19047
