Given that: Subtract x3-y3+2fromx3+y3+3xy+1using the horizontal method.

Subtracting x3-y3+2fromx3+y3+3xy+1:

=x3+y3+3xy+1-(x3-y3+2)

=x3+y3+3xy+1-x3+y3-2=x3-x3+y3+y3+3xy+1-2=0+2y3+3xy-1

=2y3+3xy-1

Therefore, we get 2y3+3xy-1
