Let C.P be x
$∴ S . P = 108 %$ of x
$= \frac{108}{100} \times x = (\frac{27 x}{25}) R s$
Now $S . P = (\frac{27 x}{25} - 12) R s$
Also New $S P = 105 %$ of x
$= \frac{21 x}{20}$
$∴ \frac{27 x}{25} - 12 = \frac{21 x}{20}$
$∴ 108 x - 1200 = 105 x$
$∴ 3 x = 1200$
$∴ x = \frac{1200}{3} = 400 R s$
CP = 400 Rs
