Solution

The correct option is C Vinegar
Acetic acid, also called vinegar is produced by a two step process. Firstly ethanol is produced by fermentation of carbon compounds mainly sugars like glucose, with help of yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae. These sugar sources could be molasses, maple syrup, etc. In the second step, bacterial strains like Acetobacter and Glucanobacter degrades the ethanol formed to produce acetic acid along with other by-products.
