Iron pins from sand.

1. Magnetism: It is the property of some elements like iron, cobalt, and nickel to get attracted toward the magnet.
2. Since iron is attracted towards the magnet as it shows magnetism properties, so, we will use a magnet to separate out iron pins from the sand as iron pins will stick to the magnet and we are left with sand.

Hence, we will use a magnet bar to separate iron pins from sand.
