Suggest an arrangement to store a $\cup$ shape magnet. How it is different from storing a pair of magnetic bar

Arrangement to store magnet

1. Soft iron is positioned on the edge of a $\cup$-magnet and it is stored in a wood box.

1. In the case of the magnetic bar a wooden block is placed between the bars which is facing the opposite direction to separate them and the edge is joined with soft iron plates.

The difference in storing different shapes of magnet

1. So in case of $\cup$ shape magnet we do not need to check the direction of the poles.
2. But in the case of a bar magnet, they are stored in pairs with unlike poles opposite that is if one magnet is kept north-south then the other must be kept south-north. Otherwise, the bar magnet will become weak.

So this is the difference in the arrangement is about the direction of the poles of the two magnets.

Hence, with the given procedure, we can store bar magnet and $\cup$ shape magnet.
