A. NATURAL METHOD:

• It works on the principle of avoiding the chance of ovum and sperm meeting.
  
• Periodic Abstinence is one such method where couple avoids mating from day 10-17 of the menstrual cycle when ovulation is expected.

B. LACTATIONAL AMENORRHEA:

• Based on the fact that ovulation and the cycle do not occur during the period of intense lactation following parturition.

C. CONDOM :

• The barrier made up of thin rubber or latex sheath used to cover the penis in male and vagina in the female.
• Prevent conception.

D. PILLS:

• Oral administration of small doses of either progesterone or progestogen-estrogen combination.
