Zygote intrafallopian transfer (ZIFT): The zygote at the stage of 16-32 blastomeres which is fertilised by in-vitro method is implanted in the fallopian tube of the mother.
Gamete intrafallopian transfer (GIFT): The sperm is implanted into the fallopian tube of the female to allow fertilisation.
