Sum of digits of two digits number is 8. The digit in tens place is thrice the digit in unit place. Find the digit.

Let, x be the digit in 10s place and y be the digit n unit place.

given that, sum of digits is 8.
so, x+y=8 ----(2)

Also,digit in 10s place is thrice the digit in unit place.
ie,
x=3y----(2)

Solve (1) and (2)

Sub x=3y in x+y=8.
(3y)+y=8
4y=8
y=2

X=3y=6

Therefore, x=6 and y=3.

63 is the number.
