Sum of squares of 2 numbers is 145. If the square root of one numbers is 3, then find the square of the other number.

Let the first number be x and
the second number be y
Given that,
x2+y2=145...(1)
x=3...(2)
then, using equation (2) squaring
both sides
(x)2=(3)2
x=9...(3)
Putting the value from equation (3)
in equation (1)
(9)2+y2=145
81+y2=145
y2=14581
y2=64
