Solution

Given, the sum of three numbers is 432.

Let the second number be x, then,

$\frac{3 x}{4} + x + \frac{x}{2} = 432$

$\frac{3 x + 4 x + 2 x}{4} = 432$

$9 x = 432 \times 4$

$x = 192$

Therefore,
Smallest number is $\frac{x}{2} = 96$
