Sum of two digits of two digits is 8. The digit in tens place is thrice the digit in unit place. Find the number.

Let, unit place digit = x.

Then, tens place digit is = 3x.

sum of digits = 8

So, sum of digits is,

3x+x = 8

4x = 8

x = 8/4 = 2

so at unit place the digit is 2 and at tens place the digit = 3x = 3*2
= 6

so the number is 62
