The correct option is B 16 m 10 cm
Length of the ribbon = 15m 25cm.
Since the length of the ribbon was short by 85cm, she should by 85cm more than 15m 25cm.
The length of the ribbon
= 15m 25cm + 85cm
m cm 15 25+ 85 –––––––––– 15 110
But, 110 cm = 100 cm + 10 cm
= 1 m 10 cm.
Therefore,
15 m 110 cm
= 15 m + 1 m + 10 cm
= 16 m 10 cm
Length of the ribbon = 15m 25cm.
Since the length of the ribbon was short by 85cm, she should by 85cm more than 15m 25cm.
The length of the ribbon
= 15m 25cm + 85cm
m cm 15 25+ 85 –––––––––– 15 110
But, 110 cm = 100 cm + 10 cm
= 1 m 10 cm.
Therefore,
