(1) The passage is about a man who has always been taught to take good care of his things.
(2) Four years ago, his son was diagnosed with ITP, a fatal disease, because of which he could die.
(3) During hospitalization, he presented a yellow car to his son. Though his son was too young for it but he still bought it.
(4) His son's disease came and went, but the writer learned a lesson. Things are things and can be replaced, but life is more precious.
