Apart from this, television also serves as a medium of education and entertainment. Besides helping us learn the subjects taught in school and colleges in greater depth, it also enables us to see and appreciate from close quarters the wonders of God's creation in any part of the world. It relaxes us from hectic monotony of life. However, we must concede to the fact that young people spend a lot more time with the T.V set than is advisable.
