Sun appears to be red during sunset and sunrise because blue light scatters more than red light in atmosphere. (Yes/No)

At the time of sunrise and sunset the distance of the sun from the earth is very much therefore during scattering, blue light being of the shortest wavelength scatters before reaching the earth whereas the red light having largest wavelength easily enters the earth’s atmosphere and so reddish color can be seen at the time of sunrise and sunset.
