Sun in orange colour but rainbow is caused by dispersion so the white light produced from sun should be in white and the sun also should be in white colour

Solution

Sun is not actually orange in colour.

The Sun is essentially all colors mixed together, which appear to our eyes as white. This is easy to see in pictures taken from space.

However nothing and evening sun appears orange.
This is because the light coming from sun on striking with particles in air gets seperated and orange light having larger wavelength moves around particles and reach our eyes. So we see sun as orange.

So, the white light coming from sun have all colours in it. When it gets dispersed by water, all colours seperate and we can see them seperately. So rainbow appears in many colours.

So the reason for both your questions is that the white light actually contains a mixture of colours.
