Sun is also a star but it looks larger than other stars because other stars are millions of times farther away than sun.The largest known star in the universe know to us is UY Scuti whose radius is around 1700 times than that of our Sun. Thus, has a volume 5 billion times that of the Sun. But it is approximately 9500 light years away from us.
