Given SP $=Rs.4500$ and
Loss $=10\%$
$\Rightarrow \frac{90}{100}$ of CP $=Rs.4500$
$\Rightarrow \frac{90}{100}$ of CP $=Rs.4500$
Thus, CP$=4500\times \frac{100}{90}$
$=50\times 100$
$=Rs.5000$
$20\%$ of Rs $5000=\frac{20}{100}\times 5000$
$=Rs.1000$
Therefore, to gain $20\%$ he should sell it at Rs.$5000+1000=$ Rs. $6000$.
