According to Planck's quantum theory E=nhcλ
Where, E = Energy of the radiation
n = number of photons per second
h = Planck's constant =6.626×1034 J s
c = speed of light =3×108 m/s
λ = wavelength of the radiation =550 nm=550×109 m
So,
E=n×6.626×1034×3×108550×109
=10173.61×1019=27.728

So, the number of photons required is 28.
