Suppose copper was high up in the reactivity series. Would it still have been such a useful metal? Give reason

Ans: yes it still would have been and useful Metal as it is used in making copper wires and electric cables in the electric appliances and the high reactivity of copper has no relation with the application it is used for.if copper had been highly reactive or low reactive It Would Still be used in making electric cables and wires

No, copper would not be as useful as it is now if it is highly reactive. The highly reactive copper won't be able to make pipes , utensils etc since the copper will react vigorously on contact with water or air . But it maybe useful in electrical cables because these cables are insulated from the atmosphere and won't react with air or water.
