A mustard flower has six dithecous stamens.
Number of microspore mother cells in one stamen = 20 × 4 = 80
Total number of microspore mother cells in six stamens = 80 ×6 = 480
Now, each microspore mother cell undergoes meiosis and produces 4 pollen grains.
Therefore, number of pollen grains produced by 480 microspore mother cells = 480×4 = 1920
