Suppose, the temperature in Moscow was –8°C at 10 AM on 6 December. Twenty-four hours later, it was 12°C higher. What was the temperature at 10 AM on 7 December?

Ans. 4° C
Explanation: The temperature at 10 AM on 7 December in Moscow would be 4°C because the temperature went 12°C higher than temperature at 10 am on 6th December, i.e. (-8°C). So we have to add 12°C in -8°C Therefore, -8°C +12°C = 4°C
