Suppose the temperatures of bodies B and C initially were T1 and T2 respectively. They are now brought into contact. Heat starts flowing from C to B till their temperatures are at T. Which of the following is/are true?
When two bodies are brought into contact with each other, the body at lower temperature starts gaining heat and it's temperature increases while the other body loses heat and hence its temperature decreases. In this case, since heat flows from C to B, the temperature of B will increase while that of C will decrease and both of them will attain an equal intermediate temperature. So, we can say T>T1 and T<T2.
