Initially, there are 60 bees in a beehive. Every hour the number of bees gets doubled.

Hence,

After 1 hour, the number of bees will be
=60×2=60×21

After 2 hours, the number of bees will be
=60×21×21=60×21+1=60×22

Cotinuing in this way, we get:
After4 hours, the number of bees will be
=60×21×21×21×21=60×21+1+1+1
=60×24

So, number of bees after 4 hours will be 60×24 .
