Acceleration due to gravity (g) acts on the objects downwards so that the objects fall in downward direction. But this acceleration due to gravity (g=9.8m/s2) is same for all the objects and thus all the objects fall with same rate irrespective of their masses.
Hence stone, a piece of paper and a coconut will fall simultaneously when they are dropped from a height.
