Suppose we have coloured a CD in seven colours of rainbow and spin it at very high speed then we see it's colour as white. Why?

When the colour wheel spins rapidly, the colors merge into each other very fast and our brain is not able to distinguish between the different individual colors. So we percieve it as white since it is the colour obtained after mixing the 7 colours of rainbow,which can be seen through the light splitting prism experiment that shows white light splitting to the rainbow colours
