Suspend two plastic balls as shown in the figure. A glass rod is rubbed with silk to make it charged. One of the balls is touched with the glass rod and the other is touched with the silk.What can we observe? Give reason for the observation. [3 MARKS]

1. When one of the ball is touched with glass rod, it acquires positive charge.
2. The other ball touched with silk acquires negative charge.
3. As we know that unlike charges attract each other, we can say that the two balls gets attracted to each other.
