Sweat contains water and salt:-

  1. Sweat is produced by glands in the deeper layer of the skin, the dermis.

2. Sweat glands, are two types, they are eccrine and apocrine respectively. Eccrine glands occur over most of your body and open directly onto the surface of your skin. Apocrine glands open into the hair follicle, leading to the surface of the skin.

3. Sweat is 99% water combined with a small amount of salt which is dissolved in the releasing water.

4. The dissolved salts are Sodium Na+ and Potassium K+ ,which are balance our body.

Therefore ,sweat contain water and dissolved salts.
