Sweating is a cooling mechanism for our body.
We all sweat at some point or other.
But do you know sweating is indeed a cooling mechanism for our body?
Because when evaporation of the sweat happens, it causes our body to stay cool.
Wondering how?
During evaporation, the surface molecules with high kinetic energy leave the liquid and come above the surface of the liquid. The molecules remaining in the liquid state have lesser energy, and hence the temperature gets lower. This is the reason why evaporation causes cooling.
