Take a beaker and fill half of it with water, put a handful of wheat seeds, stir well and wait for some time. What do you observe? Explain your observation.

When we add seeds in the beaker, after sometime, we observe that some of the seeds settle down while some seeds float on the top. The seeds that settle down are good quality seeds which are heavy due to the presence of essential nutrients inside them while the seeds that float are the poor quality seeds which are hollow from inside.
